    I have as of late become intensely interested in the platinum coin solution to the debt ceiling. It’s a great Idea. That is having treasury issue a trillion dollar coin as effective payment for supporting the budget. I have considered this and come to the conclusion it doesn’t go far enough. I suggest minting a single platinum coin that will effectively erase the entire interest bearing national debt. In fact ,I have submitted a petition in hopes enough people sign it that president must take notice.

    It reads as follows:
    National Debt resolution

    Direct the secretary of the treasury to produce a platinum coin in the appropriate denomination to pay off the entire interest paying national debt. Then deposited that coin at federal receive so as to pay off the entire interest paying national debt.

    If you guys really believe what you’ve been saying or even believe as much as I do that you are right ,you’ll sign it. Let’s not toy with the problem let’s give the fractious political do nothings something that will take there breath away and demonstrate how really worthless they are.
