  1. I hate to disagree Michael, seeing as it worked so well in Zimbabwe and Weimar Germany. FDR pretty much stole the gold. The problem centers around the privilege giving banks to create credit debt, credit being the right side of their account ledger. The best way to have fixed this would have been to put a stop to it, but FDR and future politicians merely perpetuated it. If they were really going to fix this mess, they would have busted the banks, made the depositors the owners, written down the debts then stimulated the economy. If you think you can run money off on toilet paper rolls, wait until you fill your gas tank in a year or 2
